DATES: May 9 & 10

Arkansas State Cup Futures is a development-focused, jamboree-style event designed to introduce U10 teams to the State Cup environment.
The event emphasizes:
- player development over results
- multiple quality games in a tournament setting
- quality referees, fields, and atmosphere
- positive learning environments for players, coaches, and families
State Cup Futures is intended to serve as a bridge experience for teams growing into the next stage of competition. It is not designed to determine a state champion.
U10 Futures
- Format: 9v9
- Game Length: 2 x 25-minute halves
- Halftime: 5 minutes
Coaches & Managers: How to Register
ASA recognizes that some teams may not regularly play 9v9 during their league season. That is intentional. The Futures format is designed to provide players and coaches with a developmental bridge experience in a positive tournament setting.
State Cup Futures will feature teams from the Northwest Academy League (NWAL) and Central Academy League (CAL). This event is not open to recreational teams.
If you have a U10 team planning to move to Classic in the fall and you would like to be considered for participation, please contact Jim Henke, Director of Operations.
Teams are not permitted to participate in both the Ron Heller Jamboree and State Cup Futures. These events serve different purposes within Arkansas Soccer’s player ecosystem.
State Cup Futures will be played at the same location as the Arkansas Spring Championships. Futures teams will be at the Conway Soccer Complex and will get to experience the full State Cup Championship atmosphere — including the energy, environment, and overall event experience happening alongside our Spring Championships.
