US Youth Soccer has strict guidelines to govern teams that travel out of state to attend tournaments and to address when a team wants to play in a tournament that has not been sanctioned by US Youth Soccer. ASA and all of our affiliated clubs must adhere to these guidelines.
IN-STATE US YOUTH SOCCER SANCTIONED TOURNAMENT
If the tournament to which your team wants to travel is in Arkansas and is an ASA-sanctioned tournament, your team is free to attend the tournament and use its Arkansas roster and player cards.
OUT OF STATE US YOUTH SOCCER SANCTIONED TOURNAMENT
If the tournament to which your team wants to travel is outside Arkansas, but is a US Youth Soccer sanctioned tournament, all you need to do is:
PlayMetrics: Complete a Travel Roster & Print the Travel Approval Form
- Log in to PlayMetrics.
- Go to Teams.
- Select Travel Rosters.
- Click Add Travel Roster.
- Complete all required questions and information for the travel roster.
- Once all required information is complete, save/submit the travel roster.
- From the Travel Rosters page, click on the applicable team.
- Select More Actions.
- Click Print Travel Approval Form.
- Download or print the form for your records and travel documentation.
Important: All travel rosters and travel approval requests are subject to ASA approval. ASA may follow up and request additional information or clarification before approving travel.
Recreational Teams: Recreational teams may not participate in Classic/competitive tournaments while remaining classified as recreational. A recreational team wishing to participate in a Classic tournament must first be reclassified appropriately through ASA before the event.
