Arkansas Soccer Association Academy Leagues (U8–U10)
Develop First. Compete Next.
Arkansas Soccer Association offers two Academy Leagues, designed to provide a development-focused environment for young players and clubs across the state.
The Northwest Arkansas Academy League (NWAL) serves clubs in Northwest Arkansas, with games played primarily at Sugar Creek (SC) and Arkansas Athletes Outreach (AAO).
The Central Arkansas Academy League (CAL) will begin it’s second season this Fall 2026, with Burns Park serving as the central playing location.
Both Academy Leagues are entirely developmental in nature. The purpose of the Academy model is to provide a higher-training and game environment and to bridge the pathway to ASA’s Competitive League (ACSL). Emphasis is placed on player growth, learning, and appropriate challenge, rather than game results.
Players are grouped by age and developmental level to promote confidence, enjoyment, and long-term development in a positive and supportive environment. Currently, CAL is offered for U9–U10 teams, while NWAL serves U8–U10 teams, with the potential addition of a U7 option beginning Fall 2026.
