1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in all programs, competitions, events, and activities (“Events”) organized, sanctioned, or supported by the Arkansas Soccer Association (ASA). By registering for or participating in any ASA Event, you agree to comply with these Terms, as well as all applicable rules, policies, and procedures issued by ASA or governing bodies such as US Youth Soccer (USYS) and U.S. Soccer.
2. Eligibility
a. Players: All players must be officially registered with ASA and meet the eligibility requirements for the specific Event, including but not limited to age, residency, and competition level.
b. Teams: Teams must be affiliated with ASA and, where applicable, must meet participation requirements such as completion of qualifying leagues, submission of official rosters, and verification of player documentation.
c. Team and Club Personnel: All team and club personnel—including coaches, assistant coaches, managers, trainers, referees, and any other individuals in official roles—must meet the certification, training, background check, and registration requirements established by ASA and any applicable governing bodies. Participation is contingent upon full compliance with ASA’s safety and eligibility standards.
3. Registration and Fees
a. All registrations must be submitted through ASA’s designated registration platform (e.g., Squadi) by the published deadline.
b. Registration fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. No team or individual will be allowed to participate without completed registration and payment.
c. Registrants are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all information provided.
4. Code of Conduct
All players, coaches, officials, and spectators are expected to abide by ASA’s Code of Conduct, which outlines standards for sportsmanship, behavior, and respect on and off the field.

5. Rules and Regulations
ASA Events follow the rules and policies set by ASA and, when applicable, those established by USYS, U.S. Soccer, and FIFA. These include, but are not limited to:
- Game formats and age divisions
- Substitution procedures
- Player eligibility criteria
- Field and equipment requirements
- Match protocols and discipline
- Advancement criteria for regional and national competition
All participants are expected to familiarize themselves with the rules relevant to their event.
6. Health and Safety
a. Medical Care: Medical personnel may be present at certain ASA-sanctioned Events; however, ASA does not guarantee on-site medical coverage at all times or locations. Each team and participant is responsible for having an appropriate injury response plan. By participating, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with the potential absence of immediate medical care and release ASA from any liability related to delays or lack of medical treatment.
b. Insurance: ASA provides secondary insurance for registered players, coaches, and staff. Each participant must maintain primary medical insurance coverage. ASA is not responsible for any costs, losses, or damages related to injuries or medical care.
c. Injury Reporting: All injuries must be reported immediately to any available medical personnel and ASA-designated officials. Players with serious injuries—particularly head injuries—may be required to present written medical clearance before returning to play.
7. Liability Waiver
By registering for and participating in ASA events and activities, you agree to release and hold harmless the Arkansas Soccer Association, its officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, sponsors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or losses related to injuries, property damage, or other incidents arising from participation in ASA-related programs or events.
8. Media and Likeness Release
By participating in any ASA-sanctioned Event, you grant ASA and its affiliates the right to use your name, image, likeness, and voice for promotional and publicity purposes across all forms of media including websites, social media, broadcasts, and printed materials. No compensation or royalties will be provided.
9. Event Cancellation and Rescheduling
a. Cancellation: ASA reserves the right to cancel any event or portion thereof due to severe weather, low enrollment, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances.
b. Rescheduling: ASA will make reasonable efforts to reschedule events or offer alternative accommodations. Participants will be notified of changes through official communication channels.
10. Disqualification and Penalties
Violation of these Terms, ASA rules, or codes of conduct may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to:
- Formal warnings
- Fines
- Suspension or disqualification from events
- Removal from ASA programs or facilities
All disciplinary actions are at the discretion of ASA and its designated officials and are considered final.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by ASA policies and the laws of the State of Arkansas. Any disputes arising out of participation in ASA programs will be resolved in accordance with ASA’s grievance procedures and, if necessary, escalated to higher governing bodies such as USYS or U.S. Soccer.
Nothing in this document shall be interpreted to override, contradict, or supersede the Bylaws or official policies of the Arkansas Soccer Association, US Youth Soccer (USYS), or the United States Soccer Federation (USSF). In the event of any conflict, the respective bylaws and policies shall govern.
12. Amendments
ASA reserves the right to update or revise these Terms at any time. All changes will be communicated to participants via ASA’s official communication channels. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
