ASL Spring Jamboree Series

The Arkansas State League serves Classic and Travel-level boys and girls teams from across Arkansas. During the Fall season, U11-U19 teams are organized into "Gold" and "Silver" brackets and play a series of 6-8 games using a "home or away" format. During the Spring, teams will be scheduled to play a total of 6 games spread out across 3 different "Jamboree" days (playing 2 games/day on their designated dates of competition). Schedules will be prepared to provide the best-available pairings of games for each team without limitations imposed by traditional age-pure divisions or Gold/Silver bracketing. To avoid games that would likely lead to lopsided results, teams will generally not be scheduled to play against all teams in their own age group, and may play some teams of equal ability twice during the season.
The Spring season will be offered for teams in the U9-U14 age groups (older players traditionally compete for their high school teams during this time). Teams in the U9-U10 ages will play 6v6, U11-U12 will play 8v8, and U13-U14 will play 11v11.
Spring 2013 Rules and Information
As a condition of participation, teams will be required to give the ASL Jamboree Series games the top scheduling priority on three of the following four dates (to be designated at registration):
- Saturday, March 9
- Saturday, April 6
- Saturday, April 20
- Saturday, May 4
Games will be played at designated sites across the state, which will be named after registration closes. These sites will be selected with the goal of minimizing travel time for teams over the course of the season, but all teams should expect some travel during the season.
The fees to participate are as follows, and include referee and game assignor fees:
- $149 for U9/U10 ($49 for one-day event)
- $269 for U11/U12
- $299 for U13/U14
The registration deadline is Sunday, February 3. Teams must complete the online registration at the link below and submit payment in full by this date. Teams registering after this deadline may be accepted on a "space available" basis, and will incur a $25 late registration fee.
The schedule will be distributed to all teams on Monday, February 18. Scores will be reported and posted for all games, but no standings will be kept. In the event games are canceled due to inclement weather, they will only be rescheduled if a team has one of the remaining ASL play dates still open on its schedule.

Reporting Scores
After each match, the head coaches of both teams must report the score within 48 hours. We are not maintaining standings, but we do need all game results to be reported quickly and accurately so we can track the quality and progress of the competition.
For the Arkansas State League, the Event ID is 29663 and the PIN is 2013. You will also need to enter the Game # that corresponds to your match on the schedule.
In addition, referees are expected to report cautions (yellow cards) and ejections (red cards) via the Score Reporting Form above and on paper game reports that are mailed in to the ASSA State Office.
