Team Check-In for Jamboree Division

Check-in procedure for Jamboree teams (click here for information)

• What is a jamboree division team?
  • All U10 and below teams are in the jamboree division.
  • All 7v7 teams are in the jamboree division.
  • U11 - U14 teams not competiting for a trohpy.  Round robin play only
• Jamboree teams can have up to three guest players.  If the team has secondary or transferred players it can ulitize the guest player option for these players
• Guest player forms are due by 4 pm on April 26.
• Teams are encouraged to check-in ahead of time but can check-in at least one hour prior to their first game at the tournament headquarters 
• What a jamboree team needs for check-in: 
  • Medical Release for each player (Every player MUST have one signed by their parent/guardian)
    • You may use the medical release form provided by your club or an ASSA form (click here)
  • Birth certificates are only necessary if someone questions the age of one of your players during the tournament.

Team Check-In for Competitive Division

• What is a Competitive Division team?
  • U11 - U14 teams entered in the competitive brackets that compete for a trophy.
• Teams entered into the competitive division must check-in by 9 pm on May 3
  • Check-in Options:
    • State Office (1100 E. Kiehl Ave. Suite 3, Sherwood) April 30 - May 2 from 10 am - 3 pm
    • Northwest AR: (See Jamboree checkin document for available times)
    • Tournament Headquarters: Burns Park Soccer Complex, field 1, Friday night, May 3 from 6 - 9 pm
• Required Documents for Team Check-In for Competitive Teams
  • Every player MUST have a medical release signed by his/her parent.  NO player will be allowed to play without a medical release form.  The medical release does not need to be notarized.  Your club should have provided you with medical releases at the beginning of the season, if not you can download the form here:  Player Medical Release Form
  • Birth Certificate: Must be an official government document.  Hospital and religious documents are NOT accepted.
    • Accepted forms: State or Country Issued Birth Certificates. Driver's License, Military ID, Gov. Health ID.
    • Jamboree teams do not need birth certificates for check-in but must be able to produce the documents if requested.
  • Player/coach cards with a picture and laminated.

• How to organize a team binder for check-in  Please help ensure a smooth check-in by organizing your binder in alphabetical order.  Please double-check all your information prior to check-in.

General Rules

All players must play 50% of the game. (only exception is injury or discipline issues)

U7/8 plays 4 v 4 with no keeper

U9/10 plays 6 v 6 with keeper

U11/12 plays standard 8 v 8

U13 and above plays standard 11 v 11 unless entered into 7 v 7 format

Please remember that all players must play at least 50% of every game.

Roster freeze date: (the deadline to change your roster or add guest players) April 26

 Jamboree teams only:  You may check in at the headquarters tent at least one hour prior to your first game. We suggest you show up early as we will have a lot of teams to check in.  The headquarters tent will be located at field 1.  (Competitive teams must check-in by Friday night)

What to bring to check-in?

1.      Official ASSA roster

2.     Medical release for each player completely filled out and signed by guardian/parents.  They do not have to be notarized. ( a generic form can be found at www.arkansassoccer.org under administration then forms.)

3.     Proof of age – a copy of an official document, a legal birth certificate with a state seal is best. Other forms acceptable are passports or green cards.  Hospital certificates or shot records are not acceptable.  Only competitive teams need proof of age at team check-in but jamboree teams must be able to provide proof of age if the team is questioned about a player's age/eligiblity.

4.     If playing in the competitive division, player passes must be presented.  They must have a picture and be laminated.

All information must be in alphabetical order and in a binder or folder.  How to make a tournament binder

     Only coaches/managers listed on the official roster will be allowed to sit on the bench or be on the team sidelines during the games.  Proper credentials must be worn at all times.  If a coach/manager needs to be added to a team, contact the association’s local registrar to complete the necessary steps.  A current background check is required to be placed on a roster.

AR State Soccer State Cup Rules

 We are collecting good used soccer equipment and uniforms to be given to children in need.  Please help us by bringing your unwanted soccer gear to the Kohl's American Cup.

 Fees:

• U7 - U10 Jamboree $50  (late: $75, April 15, 13)
• U11 - U14 Jamboree $75 (late: $100, April 15, 13)
• U15 - U18 7v7 Jamboree $75 (late $100, April 15, 13)
• U11 - U14 Competitive $250 (Late $275, March 31, 13)
  
  • Registration received after March 31 is not guaranteed for the competitive division.
  • Deadline for jamboree division is April 15

 Teams:

Level 1 and Level 2 Recreational teams

• Level 1 teams can only partipicate in the jamboree division
• Level 2 teams can enter either division
• U9/U10 Academy teams have been moved to the AR State Cup, May 18 - 19, 2013
• U8 Academy teams may enter the jamboree but will be placed in the next older age group.

The Kohl's American Cup is designed for recreational teams that participate in recreational events during the year, if your recreational team participates in classic events you need to register for the AR State Cup.

***If a recreational teams has participated in more than one classic event (league, tournament) during the seasonal year that team is not eligible for the Kohl's American Cup and must register in the President's Division of the AR State Cup.

A team can enter only one Cup (you cannot enter both the American Cup and the AR State Cup)
