The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

President Announcement

On Saturday, August 24, the members of the Oklahoma Soccer Association held a special meeting to elect the president of OSA. Tom Wedding, who has served the members of Oklahoma Soccer as a volunteer in several positions and most recently the Youth Vice President was elected the 14th Oklahoma Soccer President.

Tom will be contacting member clubs to continue the dialogue he established over the last two months in reaching out to member organizations. One of his first actions will be a “Survey of Change” for member input on Oklahoma Soccer and your programs to best meet your needs for this year and into the future. A rural soccer committee will be developed in September to enhance the communication, awareness and identify the different needs and concerns of our rural members.

Tom Wedding started his soccer career at the Union Soccer Club as a youth coach and volunteer. Tom has also volunteered with the Bixby Soccer club as a youth coach, referee, tournament director and board member. He started his volunteer service to members of Oklahoma Soccer in 1999 as the State Registrar, Youth Recreational President, Youth President, Youth Vice President and now in 2019, the new President of the Oklahoma Soccer Association. Tom graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2017 with a Master of Science degree in Leadership. He lives in Bixby, Oklahoma with his wife Paige who also is a long tenured volunteer in a number of soccer events, committees, and programs.
