Sandy, UT (2/6/2017)
Last week was National Signing Day for all high school seniors who will be playing in college. While not every player has to sign on National Signing Day, it does represent the first time these players can make it official. We celebrated National Signing Day, here at the UYSA office and had over 50 athletes come and celebrate with us, as well as Fox 13's Good Day Utah. This was an amazing day for all those who came, and while 50 athletes seems like a high number, it is actually less than half of all our signed players.
We want to take this time to celebrate and recognize all 116 athletes who signed. These 116 special players came from 19 different clubs throughout the state. There are players committed in and out of state, and from Division 1 to NAIA. The talent level in the state of Utah has never been higher and this is reflected in the growing number of college signees each year. Click on the link below to see the full list of 2017 UYSA College Signees. If you know anyone on the list please congratulate them and help us celebrate their tremendous careers and future endeavors.
If you know of any UYSA players who have signed for a college and are not on this list, or if you see incorrect information on the list, please contact Anthony Frost at afrost@utahyouthsoccer.net.
