Its golf season again and with that comes UYSA's annual charity golf tournament! This year will be the 9th year that UYSA has held a golf tournament to fund our college scholarship program. In those 9 Years, UYSA has been able to pay almost $110,000 dollars to our athletesto help them with college.
The charity golf tournament is the only fundraiser UYSA has for these scholarships and is a great way to give back and support youth soccer in the state of Utah.
This year the golf tournament will be played on September 14th at Cedar Hills Golf Course in Cedar Hills, UT. With a 7:30am shotgun start, the day will include 18 holes of traditional scramble golf, a luncheon sponsored by Chick-fil-A, as well as a drawings with great prizes! Some of last year's drawing items included autographed items from RSL, golf clubs, pro V1 golf balls, great soccer gear, and an apple watch.
The UYSA golf tournament is open to all, and features two different trophies. The Open Cup includes foursomes unaffiliated with a UYSA Soccer Club, and the Club Cup which includes all of our soccer club affiliated foursomes. Please make sure to indicate which soccer club you are affiliated with during registration. The Club Cup winner receives a free team entry into our Presidents Cup soccer tournament next winter, a $600 value.
