DES MOINES, Iowa (January 21, 2020) – Iowa Soccer is excited to have the USL Pro Iowa movement, led by hometown business leader Kyle Krause, connected to the annual Iowa Soccer Symposium as its 2020 Presenting Sponsor.  The Symposium is a day of learning for club and scholastic coaches of all levels, Iowa Soccer member club leaders and administrators, and engaged fans who are excited about the growth of the game in Iowa.

On February 29, educational sessions will take place on the field and in the classroom at the Iowa Events Center, Hy-Vee Hall.  Partnership support from organizations and businesses helps ensure a world-class learning environment led by nationally-recognized presenters that is affordable and accessible to Iowans.

“USL Pro Iowa is a movement to bring professional soccer and a state-of-the-art stadium to Iowa’s capital city and Iowa Soccer is all in with supporting a professional franchise in our state. Youth soccer players in Iowa will be able to see that professional soccer is something they can aspire to and is a pathway they don’t have to leave Iowa to pursue. We’re grateful for the financial support from USL Pro Iowa for the Symposium and invite the soccer community to join us February 29” commented Iowa Soccer Executive Director Dan Cataldi.

“We’re excited to partner with the Iowa Soccer community by supporting the 2020 Iowa Soccer Symposium. Truly, the enthusiasm of soccer fans is second to none and as the presenting sponsor, we’re aligning with that energy and passion as we pursue bringing a USL Championship franchise to Des Moines! We intend to serve as a catalyst to the development of youth soccer throughout the city and state. The presence of a professional soccer team in Iowa will only elevate the sport across all age groups.” remarked Charlie Bales from USL Pro Iowa.
