FC Dallas certainly did its part by defeating Raiders 10-2, and the Region III Champions got the result they needed in the other match to advance to the semifinals. Garrett Baughman netted a hat trick to go with Carlos Santamaria’s brace and goals from Fabian Cruz, Joe Ameke, David Ortiz, Roman Deleon and Marcos Puga. FC Dallas will play Region II Champions Michigan Jaguars 00 Green (MI) on Saturday, July 29th in the semifinals.

“It was a huge win. We cut down on silly mistakes and put goals away. We can compete with any team in the country, and we understand what it takes,” FC Dallas coach Clem Oancea said. “I’m proud of the outcome, and I am happy boys understand how to take it to the next level. I think we have a chance to go in and win it all. I’m excited to represent North Texas on the highest level.”
