Three North Texas teams lead SRPL West divisions after September

FRISCO, Texas (Oct. 2, 2017) – With September in the books, three North Texas teams lead their respective US Youth Soccer Southern Regional Premier League (SRPL) West divisions as FC Dallas Youth 00 Premier leads the Under-18 Boys division, Liverpool 03 Elite is at the top of the Under-15 Girls division and Fever United 01 leads the Under-17 Girls division.

The SRPL is comprised of competitive teams in the Under-13 through Under-19 boys and girls age groups in Region III playing in league format. Division winners receive a bid to the US Youth Soccer Region III Championships and winners from select age groups qualify for the prestigious US Youth Soccer National League. The West division is comprised of teams from North Texas, Oklahoma and South Texas.

2017 SRPL Schedules/Standings

Under-14 Boys
OK Energy FC 04 Central (OK) leads all teams in the Under-14 Boys age group with a 6-0 record. Dallas Texans 04 Fort Worth and Dallas Kicks 04 Selecao have only played three games, but both sport 2-1 records and will look to move up in the standings once the two North Texas sides draw even in games played.

Under-15 Boys
OK Energy FC Central 03 (OK) sits at the top of the Under-15 Boys division with a 5-0-1 record, while North Texas sides FC Dallas Youth 03 Central, defending North Texas State Cup champions FC Premier 03 and FC Dallas Youth 03 Premier hold spors two through four. The three sides are within just one point of each other as FC Dallas Youth Central and FC Premier hold identical 3-2 records, while FC Dallas Premier sits one point back with a 2-1-2 record.

Under-16 Boys
Oklahoma sides OK Energy FC Central 02 (OK) and OK Energy FC East 02 (OK) hold the top two positions in the Under-16 Boys age group, but a pair of North Texas teams remain in contention for first place and a spot in the 2018 Region III Championships. OK Energy Central sports a 4-1-1 record, while OK Energy East sits just below with a 4-2 record, while defending US Youth Soccer National Champions Solar Chelsea 02 Stricker and FC Dallas Youth 02 Premier are right behind with 3-1-1 records.

Under-17 Boys
OK Energy FC Central 01 leads the Under-17 Boys age group with a 5-0-1 record. 2017 Region III quarterfinalists Solar Chelsea 01 Stricker currently sits in second with a 3-1-1 record. Solar Chelsea 01 Sawyer, who reached the finals of the 2017 Region III Championships are in third place with a 2-0-3 record.

Under-18 Boys
FC Dallas Youth 00 Premier and FC Dallas Youth 00 Boys will look to fight for the 2018 Region III Championships spot amongst themselves as the two sides are tied for first place with 4-0-1 records. The two sides drew 1-1, but 2017 National Championships finalists FC Dallas Premier currently hold the tie-breaker. The in-state rivals both won their respective groups at the 2017 Region III Championships and will represent North Texas at the 2017-18 National League, beginning in December.

Under-19 Boys
OK Energy FC Central 99 has firm control over the Under-19 Boys age group with a 6-0 record. Dallas Texans 99 Red and FC Dallas 99 East sit in second and third place respectively with 2-1 records and will hope to capitalize if OK Energy slips up in its final three games.

Under-14 Girls
OK Energy FC Central 04 (OK) leads the Under-14 Girls age group, but that lead could be short-lived as North Texas side D’Feeters 04 Voutier is just one point back in second place despite having played two fewer games. D’feeters have a 3-0-1 record including wins against first place OK Energy Central and third place OK Energy FC East 04 (OK).

Under-15 Girls
Defending SRPL West and North Texas State Cup champions Liverpool 03 Elite leads the Under-15 Girls age group with a 5-0-1 record, but have two huge matches against 4-0 teams Rise SC 03 Elite (TX-S) and North Texas side Sting West 03 Khan. Whichever teams comes out on top of the head-to-head matches between those three sides will have a leg up in the race for the SRPL title.

Under-16 Girls
Lonestar SC 02 has used a 4-0 to take sole possession of first place in the Under-16 Girls age group, but 2017 Region III Championships finalists Solar Chelsea 02 Naizer is right behind Lonestar with a 3-0 record. North Sparta FC 02 Elite is the third team to have secured wins in all of its matches, as the North Texas side currently sits in fourth with a 2-0 record.

Under-17 Girls
Defending SRPL West champions Fever United 01 Guerra currently sits in first place with a 4-0 record while scoring 11 goals and recording four shutouts. Lonestar SC 01 Red (TX-S) has ensured Fever isn’t too comfortable at the top as the South Texas side also sports a 4-0 record. 2017 North Texas State Cup finalists Solar 01 Wells and 2016 SRPL runners-up Sting East 01 Dunstan are tied for fourth with identical 2-1-1 records.

Under-18 Girls
Rise SC 01 Elite (TX-S) currently resides at the top of the Under-18 Girls age group with a 2-1-1, but could find company very soon due to 2017 Region III Championships quarterfinalists D’Feeters Kicks SC 00 and Dallas Texans 00 Black FTW each holding 2-0 records.

Under-19 Girls
OKC Energy FC 99 have control of the Under-19 Girls age group thanks to a 4-0 record and wins against defending SRPL and North Texas State Cup champions Solar 99 Grado and Solar 99 Smith, who currently sit in second and third place respectively.
