A Total of 186 Boys and Girls Youth Teams to Compete This Weekend for the
2017 Indiana Championships in the State, Presidents and Challenge Cups
The 2017 finals weekend for the State Cup, Presidents Cup and Challenge Cup by Tom Roush Mazda & Lincoln will take place on June 2-4 at Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana. A total of 186 boys and girls teams ages 11U-19U will be competing for 44 championship titles.
Indiana Soccer is very excited to host once again a competitive soccer weekend with the best teams in the state to battle for the Indiana champion titles. It is exciting to see the growth of Indiana Soccer through the high level of competition while providing a fun weekend for parents, coaches, referees and players involved.
“It is a highly competitive weekend for the remaining 186 cup teams. These teams are comprised of approximately 2,700 players from all over the state," Angel Hall, Director of the Indiana Soccer Cups, stated. "We are hoping for a great weekend to conclude the 2017 Indiana Cups. Good Luck to all teams!” Hall, concluded.
The State Cup Champions will advance to the
US Youth Soccer National Championship Region II in Sioux Falls, South Dakota - June 23-28. The champion of the Regional event will move on to the National Finals in Texas. Both the players and coaches of the champion and runner-up teams will receive medals.
Presidents Cup Champions ages 13U-18U will advance to the
US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup Region II in Overland Park, Kansas - June 15-19. Champions of the Regional event will advance to the National Presidents Cup in Florida with boys and girls competing in the 13U through 17U divisions.
The Challenge Cup by Tom Roush Mazda & Lincoln winners do not advance to a regional event.
