DES MOINES, Iowa (February 27, 2017) – After 20 years managing statewide player, team and coach registration, Office Manager Nancy Greenley has announced her departure from Iowa Soccer, effective April 30. Prior to her run with the State Association, she served as the Administrator for the Greater Des Moines Junior Soccer League and was on its Board. All told, her service to soccer in the state reaches back nearly 30 years.
“Nancy has left an indelible mark on our staff” Executive Director Harold Kahler said of Greenley’s impact. “She’s added valuable insight into how our programming effects registration and roster compliance, as well as what additional work we may be asking of our clubs’ registrars.” Beyond handling statewide registration, Greenley has also been integral in developing and raising the bar of the risk-management programs. “Fortunately, she’ll be working with her successors and passing along some of the institutional knowledge we’d otherwise lose. On behalf of our staff and Board, we are indebted to her for her contributions to our soccer community and wish her all the best!” said Kahler.
Two fulltime staff opportunities at Iowa Soccer
“Over the last 12 months, Iowa Soccer has increased education, development and competitions programs and services to our members. Our staff structure going forward supports our commitment to delivering a high quality Iowa Soccer experience for our members and volunteers. We’re excited to begin our immediate search to fill two key administrative roles on our team,” said Jenny Wood, Marketing and Communications Director. “We’ll now have a fulltime Director of Member Services heading our Membership Department and a fulltime Member Services Administrator supporting our Membership and Education Departments. Our aim is to have both on the team by April 15.”
