FRISCO, Texas (May 11, 2018) –  The fifth day of preliminary play at the 2018 US Youth Soccer North Texas Soccer State Cup, the premier club soccer competition in North Texas, is now complete as 32 of 175 teams continued group play with the hopes of claiming a state championship and the opportunity to advance to the 2018 US Youth Soccer Southern Regional Championships.

Teams in the 11-Under through 19-Under boys and girls age groups will play at Richland College and the University of Texas at Dallas. Champions will be crowned May 13, with the winners in the 13-Under through 19-Under boys and girls age groups representing North Texas at the 2018 Southern Regional Championships at Bryan Park Soccer Complex in Greensboro, N.C. from June 22-28, 2018.

North Texas Soccer State Cup champions will join the other State Cup champions, US Youth Soccer Southern Regional Premier League winners and select wildcards at the Southern Regional Championships. Regional winners will then represent the South Region at the 2018 US Youth Soccer National Championships held at Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco Texas on July 24-29.


13-Under Boys
2018 Dallas Cup quarter-finalists Dallas Kicks 05 Selecao defeated FC Dallas ETX 05 4-2 to win Group C. Both sides will join Liverpool 05 Elite and Solar 05 Castro in the semifinals.

14-Under Girls
SRPL West champions DFeeters 04 Voutier completed a 3-0 run in group play with a 1-0 win against FC Premier 04. Both sides will advance to the semifinals by virtue of FC Premier placing second in Group A. Dallas Texans 04 Central won 7-1 against DFeeters 04 Prime in the other Group A match. SRPL West runner-up FC Dallas 04 Blue also went 3-0 after a 3-0 win against Sting Dallas 04 Flanagan, while 2017 State Cup semi-finalists Solar 04 Rundell will return to the semifinals after a 2-0 win over FC Dallas 04 Premier.

14-Under Boys
2017 North Texas Presidents Cup champions Chelsea SC 04 took control of Group A with a 3-0 win against FC Dallas 04 Premier. Both sides will advance to the quarterfinals, while Barcelona 04 and Dallas Texans 04 South battled to a scoreless draw in the other Group A match. Dallas Texans 04 Forth Worth is headed to the quarterfinals courtesy of a 2-1 win against FC Dallas 04 West, while Fever United 04 defeated FC Dallas 04 Gold 2-1. FC Premier 04 Yellow finished off a 3-0 group play with a 1-0 win over AYSES 04 Gold, while Dallas Kicks 04 Selecao will also advance to the quarterfinals after a 5-0 win against Liverpool 04 Toshack. FC Dallas 04 Boys and FC Premier 04 Forzi are both headed to the quarterfinals after a 1-1 draw, and defending State Cup champions FC Dallas 04 East Gold will also advance out of the group stage with a 2-0 win against FC Dallas ETX 04.

15-Under Girls
Liverpool 03 Owen secured the wildcard after a 4-0 win against FC Dallas WTX and will be joined by Dallas Texans 03 Dallas, Liverpool 03 Elite and Solar 03 Grado in the semifinals.

15-Under Boys
FC Dallas 03 Premier secured a spot in the semifinals with a narrow 1-0 win against Colleyville Evolution 03, while defending State Cup champions FC Premier 03 will advance out of Group B with a 5-0 win over FPS FC 03. 2017 State Cup finalists FC Dallas 04 Central will move on to the knockout round after a thrilling 4-3 win against Solar 03 Deleon, while FC Premier 03 Red rounded out the semifinals in style with a 4-0 win over FC Dallas 03 Silver.

16-Under Boys
Solar 02 Castro ended its State Cup on a high note with a 5-0 win against FPS FC 02 in the final 16-Under Boys group play match.
