Attention UYSA Members:
Two rule changes have occurred at the Regional and National Presidents Cup levels that affects rosters for Presidents Cup teams and some potential State Cup teams. Below are the two rule changes being applied to the RSL Utah Presidents Cup:
- Guest playing for Presidents Cup is no longer allowed
- Teams may club pass and the team must demonstrate continuity of rosters between the league and Presidents Cup competition by maintaining a minimum of nine players common to the roster as of the end of the fall season or fall session for Premier teams
- Teams advancing to the regional tournament may only club pass players at the regional level that are rostered to their club prior to the roster freeze of the RSL Utah Presidents Cup
- Individual Players may NOT participate in the RSL Utah Presidents Cup if they have participated or plan on participating in State Cup in the same seasonal year
- 11U & 12U teams are exempt from this rule
- Previous seasonal year results from State Cup no longer restrict a player from playing in Presidents cup in current seasonal year
These rule changes go into effect immediately.
