RSL President's Cup Day 2 Recap

Mesquite, NV (1/7/2017)

Day 2

The action resumed today after the wind cancellations last night. With only 8 of 32 games being played last night and all games rescheduled for today, all fans of soccer would be able to find games from 8 am to 8 pm at 4 locations across the city.

The action was high energy all day whether it be due to excitement of finally playing or trying to keep warm, the players had fun today, which is always the best case scenario. The hurricane strength winds also stayed away, although it was quite windy and cold all day long and a record number of hot chocolates were sold.

Teams are still in the group stage after Day 2 but with the finals looming tomorrow, every team is looking to play their best and advance.

Today had it all in the way of action, fantastic saves, wonder goals, and everything in between.
