Registration is now available for the 2018 North Texas Soccer Presidents Cup presented by Dr Pepper. Teams in the 13-Under through 18-Under boys and girls age groups will convene in at Valley Ridge Park in Cedar Hill, Texas with the hopes of claiming a state title and advancing to regional and potentially national competitions.
The North Texas Presidents Cup is a round-robin which takes place March 8-11, 2018. March 12 will be available if needed in the event of a weather delay.
Winners of the US Youth Soccer North Texas Presidents Cup will represent North Texas Soccer at the 2018 US Youth Soccer South Presidents Cup in Greenville, S.C. from June 12-17, 2018. Winners will then represent the South Region at the 2018 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup, which will be held at in Westfield, IN from July 11-15, 2018.
For the first time in Presidents Cup history, the 18-Under boys and girls age groups are available to not only compete at the state Presidents Cup level, but also advance to the South Region Presidents Cup and US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup.
All teams registered with North Texas Soccer are eligible to compete at the North Texas Presidents Cup with the exception of teams that currently compete in Division I of the Classic league.
Last year, teams from nine different clubs were crowned champions. Of the ten teams that claimed North Texas Presidents Cup titles, eight advanced to the semifinals of the 2017 South Region Presidents Cup. Four North Texas teams would advance to the finals, while 14-Under Girls Solar Chelsea 03 Wells (TX-N) and 16-Under Boys Dallas Texans 01 Red (TX-N) claimed regional titles.
