2017 US Youth Soccer Region IV Presidents Cup Begins June 13 in Salt Lake City

FRISCO, Texas (June 5, 2017) — The schedule is now available for the 2017 US Youth Soccer Region IV Presidents Cup, which kicks off June 13 at the Salt Lake City Regional Athletic Complex in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The tournament will feature more than 120 US Youth Soccer boys and girls teams in the 13U through 17/18U age groups, competing for a regional title and a chance to advance to the 2017 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup, July 12-16 in Auburndale, Fla.
Preliminary games in Salt Lake City will take place Tuesday, June 13 through Thursday, June 15. Quarterfinal matches will take place Friday, June 16, and semifinals will be played Saturday, June 17. Regional champions will be crowned following final matches on Sunday, June 18. All games will take place at the Salt Lake City Regional Athletic Complex.
“Utah Youth Soccer Association is excited to welcome players from all across the West to Salt Lake City for the 2017 Region IV Presidents Cup,” UYSA President Brian Smith said. “Salt Lake City offers plenty of attractions and amenities for visiting teams, along with passionate supporters of the game and top-notch soccer facilities to host this great event.”
The event will features teams from 13 Region IV State Associations, including host Utah Youth Soccer Association. The other State Associations represented are Alaska, Arizona, California-South, California-North, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming.
The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup offers teams the challenge of experiencing different types of play by competing from state to regional to national levels. The Presidents Cup provides teams with a progressive, competitive experience that highlights competition, camaraderie and community.
