There are just a few days left to register for 2019 at the regular recertification prices. If your badge says 2018 – you have to recertify. On Jan. 1, 2019 the price increases.
If your badge says 2019, you are good to work in 2019.
If you have a friend, parent or sibling that wants to join you this year and be a part of the fun, rewarding NTX Referee Program. Have them visit the Referees Clinics page – there are 30 clinics posted so far with another 30 to be added in the next two weeks.
Find a clinic that is convenient in location and date, sign up to attend.
There are 3 levels of Entry Level Referee Clinics
GR9 – min age 12, this badge allows you to work the Under 4- 8 year old games
GR8 – min age 13, this badge allows you to work up to 16-Under matches.
GR7 – min age 17, this is recommended for those who know the game well. As a player, coach at the 16-Under and up level. Also good for the referee who took some time off and is now returning.
This Grade allows one to be assigned to any youth match and adult amateur matches. If you don’t know much about soccer, this is not the course for you.
Once registered, your badge will be sent to you from the North Texas Soccer State Office.
Don’t forget to take and pass the exam that is a part of every recertification
