Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month is September: Join CSA & Go4TheGoal in Lacing up for Kids

In partnership with the Go4theGoal® Foundation, CSA is inviting all members to join us in raising awareness and funds for childhood cancer this season through Go4theGoal’s Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer® campaign.

The campaign has its roots in New Jersey’s youth soccer community and has since grown to include tens of thousands of soccer players on all levels, and professional soccer teams such as Sporting Kansas City, the Philadelphia Union, and Sky Blue FC. The Lace Up campaign offers a chance for players to get involved, help raise awareness, and show support for local kids battling cancer.

All funds raised beyond the cost of the laces will be used at Children’s Hospital Colorado to support local children being treated for cancer.  Once a team has committed to participate, ordered laces, and has selected a "Lace Up" or "Gold Out" game, Go4theGoal will send laces along with supportive materials such as banners and balloons.

We are hoping to get every athlete under the CSA umbrella involved by September for National Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month! Laces are only $5 per pair, with $4 going back to benefit children battling cancer at Children’s Hospital Colorado. This is an opportunity to highlight our players and organization, support a great hospital that serves our community, and bring awareness to a serious illness that children shouldn't have to fight alone.

Go4theGoal® is a New Jersey based pediatric cancer foundation whose unwavering mission is to improve the lives of children battling cancer by providing financial support, developing and implementing unique hospital programs, funding innovative research, and granting personal wishes. Through our first hand experience with pediatric cancer and our medical background, Go4theGoal provides the best practices to patients, their families, and the hospitals and staff that care for them. Laces can be purchased at http://go4thegoal.org/shop.html. Contact Nick Kelleher at NickKelleher@go4thegoal.org with any questions.
