The Opening Night of the 2017 Spring State was a resounding success. For the first time ever Spring State Cup used all 16 fields at the RAC. There are so many outstanding teams that we even had to make some fields of our own for the 11U's and 12U's. In total we played 49 games across 18 different fields. It made for a heck of a night of soccer. Even the weather, which looked bleak and was definitely cold, cooperated by not raining on the thousands of people in attendance. It was a great first night full of picturesque backdrops and amazing displays on the field. We can't wait to see what the rest of the tournament has in store.
We will be providing a nightly recap of the day's events and highlighting some of the key matchups and most exciting games from the day. Check back everyday to see what you might have missed.
