The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Ogden City SC Adds Four More Players

Sandy, Utah (April 11, 2019) – Ogden City Soccer Club has announced the fourth round of players to its roster.  This week they announced the re-signing of Zach Maas from Utah Valley University. Three new players were also announced which Danny Darelli from Westminster College, Zahir Vazquez from Utah Valley University, and Luke Merrill from Salt Lake Community College.  

All four players are alumni of Utah Youth Soccer Association, bringing the total to 12 UYSA alums out of the 16 players announced.

Ogden City Soccer Club will continue to announce players every Thursday until May 2nd (adjusted from April 25th) on its social media platforms. Below is a bio for each player:

Danny Darelli

Danny is a junior at Westminster College from Cottonwood Heights, Utah. He had a career year being named All-RMAC First Team while scoring nine goals with three assists. Danny also started 18 of 19 games with over 1100 minutes on the pitch.

Zahir Vazquez

Zahir is freshman at Utah Valley University from West Haven, Utah. He played in all 18 matches and finished with two goals and two assists in over 500 minutes on the pitch. Zahir also played has trained on multiple occasions with Real Salt Lake's First Team and the Real Monarchs of the USL.

Luke Merrill

Luke is a freshman at Salt Lake Community College from Layton, Utah. He appeared in 17 games while starting 11 of them. He also provided six assists on the year. Before committing to the Bruins Luke played with La Roca and Sparta in his club career.  

Zach Maas

Zach is returning for a second season with Ogden City SC after being a big contributor last season with over 800 minutes on the pitch. He is a sophomore at Utah Valley University where he started all 18 matches and finished with three goals and five assists. Zach was also named Academic All-WAC for second straight year.
