The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Ogden City SC Adds Five More Players

Sandy, Utah – Ogden City Soccer Club has announced its second round of players to the roster today. This week they announced the re-signing of two players, Carlos Becerra from UC Irvine and Kaden Amano from Westminster. Three new players were also announced which are Eric “Gallo” Virgen from the University of New Mexico, David Brog from Saint Mary’s College and Jandir Porta from Dixie State University.

All five players this announced this week are alumni of Utah Youth Soccer Association.

Ogden City Soccer Club will continue to announce players every Thursday until April 25th on it’s social media platforms. Below is a bio for each player:

Carlos Becerra

Carlos returns for a second season with OCSC after being a large contributor for the club last year playing 13 of 14 games. He was most recently at Coastal Carolina where he started 7 of the 13 games he played. Carlos has transferred to UC Irvine where he will finish out his college career. 

Eric Virgen

Eric “Gallo” is a freshman at the University of New Mexico from Sandy, Utah. He played in 17 games for the Lobos and started 10. He attended the Real Salt Lake Academy where he was a 3-time captain. Eric also has competed for the U.S. U-15 and U-18 national teams.

Kaden Amano

Kaden is re-signing for a second season with OCSC. He is currently a sophomore at Westminster and was named All-RMAC Second Team after scoring 7 goals, which was third for the Griffins.  

David Brog

David is a freshman at Saint Mary’s College and is from Sandy, Utah. He made 11 appearances for the Gaels with one assist. David played with AFC Apex before committing to Saint Mary’s.

Jandir Porta

Jandir is a Junior at Dixie State University from West Valley City, Utah. In 2018 he made 14 appearances with 11 starts. He has nine career goals to go with seven career assists.
