North Texas teams pick up over 20 wins on Frontier Conference Weekend

FRISCO, Texas (Sept. 23, 2019) – North Texas Soccer teams combined for 23 wins, four losses and six ties in US Youth Soccer Frontier Conference matches that took place Sept. 21-22. North Texas Soccer teams now lead seven groups with just under two months left of play.

Last season, North Texas teams claimed 12 of 14 Frontier Conference titles. The Frontier Conference is one of 13 Conferences under the US Youth Soccer National Leagues Program in the Multi-State Tier. North Texas teams in the Frontier Conference compete against each other in conjunction with the Chamber Classic League and Lake Highlands Classic League.

The Frontier Conference consists of teams primarily from Oklahoma, North Texas and South Texas. The top teams in the Conference will earn advancement to the US Youth Soccer Southern Regional Championship, part of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series, as well as a chance to earn a coveted spot in the National Tier of the Leagues Program, the US Youth Soccer National League. Last season, four North Texas Soccer teams claimed titles.

14-Under Girls

A trio of North Texas teams lead the 14-Under Girls age group as FC Dallas 06 Girls, Texas Spirit 06 Monk and DKSC 06 Nichols each sport a 1-0-1 record. Over this past weekend, DKSC defeated FC Westlake 06 (TX-S) 1-0, while Solar East 06 Reese won its opening match 2-1 over FC Westlake.

14-Under Boys

Four different North Texas teams combined for a perfect 4-0 record in the 14-Under Boys age group. Defending Frontier Conference and 2019 US Youth Soccer Southern Regional Champions FC Dallas 06 Premier moved to a 2-0 record after a 6-1 win against OK Energy FC Central 06 (OK), while Solar 06 Juliao earned a 1-0 win over Rise SC 06 NL (TX-S). 2019 State Cup finalists FC Dallas 06 Central would defeat Rise 4-1 on the second day of play, and F.C. Warryors 06 defeated OK Energy 2-0.

15-Under Girls

Defending state, regional and National Champions Dfeeters 05 Black remained at the top of the age group with a 1-0 win against Sting 05 Spence, while FC Dallas 05 West earned a 3-0 win against OK Energy FC Central 05 (OK).

15-Under Boys

2019 State Cup semi-finalists FC Dallas 05 Navy propelled to the top of the standings with a 4-1 win over ID Houston Dynamo 05 (TX-S) on Saturday before earning a 2-1 win against SBYSC SB Leones (TX-S) on Sunday.

16-Under Girls

Dfeeters DKSC 04 Prime remains at the top of the group after a 3-0 win over OK Energy FC Central 04 (OK), while 2019 Southern Regional Championships semi-finalists FCD 04 Blue won 2-1 vs FC Dallas 04 Girls. Sparta FC 04 earned its first win in the Frontier Conference with a 3-0 victory over OK Energy.

16-Under Boys

FC Dallas 04 Premier improved to 3-0 in the age group with a strong win over FC Westlake 04 Lobitos (TX-S). Dallas Kicks 04 Selecao moved to 3-1-1 with a 7-1 win over OK Energy FC Central 04 Green (OK), and Dallas Texans 04 Fort Worth earned its first Frontier Conference win of the season 1-0 over OK Energy. On Sunday, Chelsea East SC 04 fell 2-1 to FC Westlake Lobitos, while FC Dallas 04 West battled OK Energy FC to a 2-2 draw.

17-Under Girls

Dallas Texans 03 Central and DKSC 03 Black Hillard each recorded a win and a draw against Lonestar SC 03 Red (TX-S) and Alamo City Lady Dragons (TX-S) as the two sides sit in third and second place respectively with 2-1-1 records.

17-Under Boys

FC Dallas 03 Central moved into second place in the age group with a pair of draws against Pasa del Norte FC 2000 (TX-S) and Rise SC 03 NL (TX-S).

18-Under Girls

No 18-Under Girls matches occurred this past weekend, but defending Frontier Conference champions Sparta FC 02 Elite leads the age group with a 3-0 record.

18-Under Boys

Dallas Texans 02 Red Dallas battled Capital City SC 02 Sky (TX-S) to a scoreless draw before falling to FC Westlake 02 (TX-S) 2-1 on the second day of play this past weekend.

19-Under Girls

Dallas Texans 01 Red won big over OK Energy FC Central 01 (OK) to join FC Dallas 01 West at the top of the age group with 2-0 records.

19-Under Boys

2019 National Championship finalists Solar 01 Stricker and 2019 National Championships semi-finalists FC Dallas 01 Premier each took care of business with wins over ID Escuela Houston (TX-S) and Texas United Barza 01 (TX-S). FC Dallas currently sits in first place with a 5-0 record, while Solar Stricker occupies second place with a 3-1 record.
