
FRISCO, Texas (Aug. 19, 2019) – North Texas Soccer teams combined for a 40-14-10 record in the opening weekend of the 2019-20 US Youth Soccer National League Frontier Conference season.
Games were played Aug. 17-18 at MoneyGram Soccer Park in Dallas. Last season, North Texas teams claimed 12 of 14 Frontier Conference titles. The US Youth Soccer National League Frontier Conference is one of 13 Conferences under the US Youth Soccer National Leagues Program in the Multi-State Tier. North Texas teams in the Frontier Conference compete against each other in conjunction with the Chamber Classic League and Lake Highlands Classic League.
The Frontier Conference consists of teams primarily from Oklahoma, North Texas and South Texas. The top teams in the Conference will earn advancement to the US Youth Soccer Southern Regional Championship, part of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series, as well as a chance to earn a coveted spot in the National Tier of the Leagues Program, the US Youth Soccer National League. Last season, four North Texas Soccer teams claimed titles.

14-Under Boys
Defending Frontier Conference winners and third place finishers at the 2019 US Youth Soccer National Championships FC Dallas 06 Premier began its season off with a 2-0 win against Rise SC 06 NL (TX-S), but fellow club side FC Dallas 06 Central fell to OK Energy FC 06 Central (OK) 2-1. On Sunday, F.C. Warryors 06 defeated Rise 06, and OK Energy would earn its second win of the weekend over a North Texas side with a 5-0 win against Solar 06 Juliao.
14-Under Girls
FC Dallas 06 and Texas Spirit Monk both secured wins against OK Energy FC 06 West (OK) and draws against OK Energy FC 06 Central (OK) to move into a tie at the top of the standings.
15-Under Boys
2019 State Cup finalists FC Dallas 05 Premier and State Cup semifinalists FC Dallas 05 Navy lead the 15-Under Boys age group after going 2-0 this weekend. FC Dallas 05 Navy earned a 2-1 win over OK Energy FC 05 East (OK) before defeating OK Energy FC 05 Central (OK) 2-0 on the second day of play. FC Dallas 05 Premier won 3-1 against Barca Academy Austin 05 (TX-S) on Saturday and defeated Rise SC 05 NL (TX-S) by the same score on Sunday. BVB 05 Premier had its fair share of drama this weekend as the 2017-18 Frontier Conference champions drew Rise SC 3-3 on Saturday before battling Barca Academy to a 2-2 draw on the second day of play. 2019 Southern Regional Championship quarterfinalists FC Dallas 05 North Blue and Dallas Kicks 05 each won their sole game of the weekend to give North Texas teams an undefeated record in the age group.

15-Under Girls
Sting 05 Spence sits at the top of the group after a 1-1 draw against Lady Lions FC 05 Red (TX-S) on Saturday before a 2-0 win against Rise SC 05 Elite (TX-S) on Sunday. Defending Frontier Conference and National Champions Dfeeters 05 Black got its title defense off to a strong start with a 3-0 win over OK Energy FC 05 Central (OK). NTX Celtic 05 Marshall made a strong impression in its Frontier Conference debut with a 4-1 win against OK Energy FC Central. FC Dallas 05 West rebounded from a day one loss at the hands of Rise SC to win 3-1 over Lady Lions FC.
16-Under Boys
Chelsea East SC 04 earned the only North Texas win on the opening day of play with a 1-0 victory over OK Energy FC 04 Central Green (OK). Dallas Texans 04 Fort Worth fell to OK Energy FC 04 Central (OK) 2-0 on Saturday before being on the wrong side of a 3-2 score against OK Energy FC 04 East (OK). FC Dallas 04 West fell to ID Houston Legends 04 (TX-S) and ID Club Division 04 (TX-S) on the weekend, while Dallas Kicks SC 04 Selecao were unable to overcome ID Club Division in its only game of the weekend. FC Dallas 04 Premier opened its Frontier Conference season with a 5-3 win over OK Energy FC 04 Central Green on the second day of play.
16-Under Girls
2019 Southern Regional Championships semifinalists FC Dallas 04 Blue secured a 4-0 win over OK Energy FC 04 Central (OK), while Dallas Texans Central 04 Red earned an identical win over OK Energy Central on Sunday. FC Dallas 04 Girls drew Rise SC 04 Elite (TX-S), while FC Premier 04 fell to Rise 1-0.

17-Under Boys
After all four North Texas teams finished in the top five of the Frontier Conference standings, North Texas teams began the 2019-20 season with six wins and a draw in the opening weekend. Defending Frontier Conference champions and National Championships finalists FC Dallas 03 Premier won 6-1 over OK Energy FC 03 East (OK) in its lone game of the weekend. 2017 and 2018 State Cup champions FC Premier 03 Opoku used wins over Capital City SC 03 (TX-S) and Maya Furia Rojinegra to move to the top of the standings. 2019 Southern Regional Championships quarterfinalists Solar 03 De Leon won 3-2 against OK Energy FC 03 East (OK), while Frontier Conference newcomer FC Dallas 03 Central won 1-0 over OK Energy East in its debut. State Cup semifinalists FC Dallas 03 West won 2-1 against Maya Furia before drawing Capital City SC 1-1 on the second day of play.
17-Under Girls
State Cup finalists Sparta FC 03 won its only game of the weekend 8-1 over NB Ajax 03 (TX-S). Dallas Kicks 03 Black Hillard rebounded from a day one loss to win 2-1 over OK Energy FC 03 Central (OK). Dallas Texans 03 Central won 2-0 over OK Energy Central, but also fell to OK Energy FC 03 East (OK) 2-0. BVB 03 Premier were unable to find the back of the net in a 1-0 defeat at the hands of NB Ajax.
18-Under Boys
Defending Frontier Conference and National Champions Solar 02 Castro got its title defense off to a great start with a 3-1 win over Southern Regional Champions OK Energy FC 02 Central (OK). State Cup finalists AYSES 02 Gold used shutout victories over Rise SC 02 NL (TX-S) and ID Club Division (TX-S) to go 2-0 on the weekend. 2017-18 Frontier Conference winners FC Dallas 02 Premier also own a 2-0 record after wins over the same teams. Solar South 02 Adames defeated OK Energy FC Central, while Dallas Texans fell to OKC United 02 Black (OK) 2-0.

2019 State Cup champions and Southern Regional Championships finalists Sparta FC 02 Elite defeated Rise SC 02 Elite (TX-S), while FC Dallas 02 Red drew Rise 2-2.
19-Under Boys
National Championships semifinalists FC Dallas 01 Premier defeated OK Energy FC 01 Central (OK) 4-0 to begin its Frontier Conference title defense. Not to be outdone, Solar 01 Stricker, which defeated FC Dallas 01 Premier via kicks from the mark in the National Championships semifinals, also won 4-0 on the second day of play. FC Dallas 01 Central drew Rise SC 01 (TX-S) 2-2 before winning 1-0 against SBYSC Rayados (TX-S). Sporting United 01 fell to Rayados 2-0 on Saturday, but the 2018 State Cup champions earned its first points in the Frontier Conference season with a 2-2 draw with Rise SC.
