North Texas Soccer alums Ferreira and Reynolds become the league-leading 16th and 17th homegrown players signed by FC Dallas

FRISCO, Texas (Nov. 24, 2016) – North Texas Soccer alums Jesus Ferreira and Bryan Reynolds become the league-leading 16th and 17th homegrown players signed by FC Dallas. The 15-year-olds made history by becoming the two youngest player to ever sign with FC Dallas.

Ferreira is the son of former MLS MVP David Ferreira and joined the FC Dallas Youth System when his father signed with FC Dallas in February of 2009.

The forward from McKinney, Texas has participated in the US Youth Soccer Region III and North Texas Soccer Olympic Development Program (ODP) from 2011-12. Ferreira competed with FC Dallas 01 Premier Blue from 2011-2013, where he competed in the Chamber Classic Soccer Alliance Classic League for two seasons. Ferreira also won the 2013 US Youth Soccer North Texas State Cup with FC Dallas.

Reynolds reached the semifinals of the 2013 North Texas State Cup and played in the CCSAI Classic League from 2011-2014. The forward from Fort Worth, Texas also competed with FC Dallas in the three most recent Dr Pepper Dallas Cups.
