North Texas Soccer alum Firstenberg to compete in NCAA College Cup Final Four

FRISCO, Texas (Dec. 2, 2016) – Former Texas Soccer player, Sarah Ashley Firstenberg will compete with the University of North Carolina in the semifinals of the NCAA Division I Women’s College Cup.

Firstenberg is a senior from Irving, Texas and has appeared in every match for the Tar Heels this season, including six starts. The forward has totaled two goals and two assists in those games. North Carolina will take on West Virginia on Friday, Dec. 2, 2016, at 5:00 pm. The match will be aired on ESPNU, and the winner will take on the winner of the other semifinal between Georgetown and University of Southern California in the College Cup finals.

Firstenberg played youth soccer for FC Dallas 95 and competed in the 2012 US Youth Soccer North Texas State Cup. Firstenberg also competed in the Lake Highlands Classic League from 2011-14. More information on North Texas Soccer tournaments can be found here.
