**For Immediate Release**Feb. 10, 2016**-- Nebraska State Soccer is proud to announce a partnership with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). The NSCAA is a nationwide organization well known in the soccer community for its coaching education courses and platforms.
“Partnering with the NSCAA allows us to get more education to our coaches in Nebraska,” said Maren McCrary, Director of Coaching, “Ultimately, more educated coaches is what is best for our players. We offer US Soccer courses as much as we can, but adding the NSCAA courses give us a bigger menu to offer. I am especially excited about the goalkeeper courses.”
While NSCAA courses are not a replacement for the required US Soccer licenses, they are a great supplement. NSCAA offers courses for beginners, intermediates, and national diplomas for advanced coaches as well as “Goal Keeper Academy” courses. You can find their full course offerings here.
“We were so excited to begin our partnership we actually have our first NSCAA course this weekend! We will be offering Goal Keeper level 1 & 2 next weekend- you can sign up here” said McCrary.
If you would like a specific NSCAA course to be held in Nebraska, please email doc@nebraskastatesoccer.org and Maren will begin scheduling those based on availability.
