The Breakdown
The former Andromeda side may be the only North Texas side without National League experience, but is also arguably having the best 2016. The 2016 North Texas State Cup finalists reached the finals of the 2016 Region III Championships. In addition to playing second in the SRPL West, Solar won the 2015-16 Chamber Classic Soccer Alliance Classic League and reached the finals of the 2016 Dr Pepper Dallas Cup. Solar will have to adapt to the National League on the fly with only the division winners advancing to the National Championships.
