FRISCO, Texas (March 11, 2017) – Finals and semifinals matches have been determined at the US Youth Soccer North Texas Soccer Presidents Cup presented by Dr Pepper. Over 80 teams from North Texas continue their quest for a state title and the opportunity to advance to the 2017 US Youth Soccer Region III Presidents Cup in Tulsa, Okla.
Teams in the Under-13 through Under-17/18 boys and girls age groups will compete at Valley Ridge Park in Cedar Hill, Texas. Champions will be crowned March 12, with the winners representing North Texas at the Region III Presidents Cup at Mohawk Soccer Complex in Tulsa, Okla. from June 13-18, 2017. Regional winners will then represent Region III at the 2017 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup held at Lake Myrtle Sports Park in Auburndale, Fla. from July 12-16, 2017.
The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup is designed for those teams seeking additional challenges to play against teams of similar abilities for a state, regional and national title. The cup provides a progressive, competitive experience to teams that might not otherwise get the opportunity to participate in a series of unique experiences highlighting competition, camaraderie and community from the state to regional to national levels of US Youth Soccer.

Under-13 Girls
FC Dallas Youth 04 Central and Sting West 04 Serrato advanced to the semifinals out of Group A after earning wins over MP United. FC Dallas defeated MP United 2-1 earlier in the day before Sting cruised past MP United 5-1 later in the day. The two teams will play in the semifinals in a rematch of the opening game, in which FC Dallas prevailed 5-1.
Fever United 04 Penn and Texas Shock FC 04 will play in the other semifinals match after the two sides won their respective groups. Fever United won Group B after their 3-1 win over FC Dallas 04 West Red gave them a 2-0 record for the group stage. Not to be outdone, Texas Shock won Group C after securing a 2-0 win over NTX Celtic FC 04 Mayes, the team’s second 2-0 in a row.

Under-13 Boys
Falls Towns FC 04 and AYSES 04 Gold will meet in the semifinals after finishing first and second respectively in Group A. Both teams won on Saturday as AYSES and Fallas Town each defeated FPS FC 04 13-0 and 8-1 respectively.
The other semifinal will be a battle of 3-0 group winners as Group B winner FC Dallas Youth 04 West will take on Chelsea East SC 04. FC Dallas began the day with a 7-0 win over Arsenal SC 04 before defeating Fever United 4-0 later in the day. Chelsea took down FC Dallas Youth 04 East 7-2 to start the day and secured a spot in the semifinals with a 4-1 win over Athletico Espanol.

Under-14 Girls
FC Dallas WTX and Solar Chelsea 03 Wells sit at the top of the group after finishing Saturday with 2-0 records. FC Dallas defeated Americas 03G 2-0 in the morning, while Solar narrowly defeated Kernow Storm FC 03 2-1. FC Dallas earned its second win of the day 3-1 against Kernow Storm, while Americas FC moved to third in the group with a 2-0 win over Texas Spirit.

Under-14 Boys
FC Premier will advance to the semifinals after defeating Fever United 3-1 in the morning and FC Dallas 03 East 5-1 in their second match of the day. FC Premier will face Falls Town FC 03, who narrowly finished second in Group B with a 2-0-1 record. Falls Town started the day with a 6-1 win over FC Dallas 03 North Blue before earning a win over Dallas Kicks. Real GP 03 Rodriguez edged out Falls Town in Group B with an identical 2-0-1 record. Real GP first defeated Dallas Kicks 5-0 before beating FC Dallas 3-0 in the evening. Real GP will face Group C winner Arsenal SC 03, which overcame a loss on Friday to advance after defeating FPS FC 3-1 and FC Kaos 03 8-0 on Saturday.

Under-15 Girls
NTX Celtic FC 02 McCallum leads Group A after two sets of games with a 2-0 record. Celtic started the day off with a 6-0 win over Texas Lightning before defeating Dallas Kicks 02 SC 6-2 later in the day. Kicks won its first match of the day 2-1 against Mutiny FC 2002, and Mutiny took down Texas Lightning 3-0 in the evening.
Solar Chelsea leads a congested Group B after Saturday’s games. Solar defeated Hurst United FC 02 3-2 in its opening game and drew Lubbock Cruz Azul 02 Barr 2-2 in the second game. Lubbock Cruz edged out FC Dallas Youth 02 Red 2-1 in the morning, but FC Dallas would earn its first win of the tournament 5-0 over Hurst United.

Under-15 Boys
Real GP 02 Rodriguez currently leads Group A with 16 points after first defeating NTX Celtic FC 02 Shirley 3-0 and then drawing FPS FC 02B 3-3 in the second match of the day. FPS defeated Athletic Dallas SC 3-1 to begin the day, and Celtic battled Athletic Dallas to a 4-4 draw in the evening match.
Dallas Kicks 02 has control over Group B after going 2-0 on Saturday. The Kicks first defeated FC Lightning 5-0 in the morning before beating Texas Spirit 02 8-1. Spirit and FC Dallas battled to a 1-1 draw in the first game, and FC Lightning defeated FC Dallas 8-1 in the second match of the day.

Under-16 Girls
The Under-16 Girls final is set, as Sting West 01 Jones will square-off against FCUSA Texas 01. Sting won its second game of the tournament 3-0 over Sparta FC 01 to win Group A, while FCUSA took down Kosmos FC 01 2-0 to claim Group B.

Under-16 Boys
Dallas Texans 01 Red and Solar Chelsea 01 Wells will meet in the Under-16 Boys finals after each team won all of its games in the group stage. Dallas Texans edged out OU United SC 1-0 to win Group A with a 2-0 record. Solar Chelsea defeated Mutiny FC 2001 2-0 in the morning before cementing their spot at the top of Group C with a 5-0 win over FC Dallas 01 Central Blue.

Under-17 Girls
FC Dallas 99 East and Texas Spirit 00 will meet in the semifinals after both sides advanced out of Group A. After the two sides drew each other on Thursday, Texas Spirit drew Mutiny FC 2000 3-3, while FC Dallas earned first place in Group A with a 2-1 win over Mutiny later in the day. After a 6-1 win over Vitesse Dallas 01, Solar won Group B with a 2-0 record. They will face Liverpool 00 Rush, who won against both Texas Lightning and Odyssey SC 00 en route to a 3-0 record and a first place finish in Group C.

Under-17 Boys
FC Dallas Youth 00 Central leads Group A after each team played a pair of games on Saturday. FC Dallas started the day off with a 4-0 win over Infinity FC, while DI Stars FC beat Leon FC 2-0 in the early time slot. FC Dallas would draw DI Stars 3-3 in each team’s second game, and Leon FC defeated Infinity FC 00 3-0.
Superior Aztecas SC and Aztecas FC 00 each sport a 2-0 record at the top of Group C setting up a showdown tomorrow morning. Both teams defeated Samba King 00 and Independiente 00 on Saturday.
