Indiana Soccer Teams to Play in the US Youth Soccer - Region II Tournaments

 

Indiana Soccer Sends a Total of 30 Teams to the US Youth Soccer Regional Level Tournaments for Both State Cup and Presidents Cup

Indiana Soccer Association hosted the finals weekend for State, Presidents and Challenge Cups - June 2-4 weekend. Winners from the State and Presidents Cups advanced to the US Youth Soccer Regional II tournaments.
 
State Cup winners will play at the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series event. The champions of the event will then move on to the National Finals. The Regional tournament will be held in South Dakota.  Indiana Soccer is sending 7 boys’ teams and 7 girls’ teams to compete at the regional level tournament.
 
Indiana Soccer Presidents Cup champions advanced to the US Youth Soccer Regional Presidents Cup for team’s ages 13U-18U.  Their Regional Level tournament will be hosted in Overland Park, Kansas - June 15-19.  Indiana Soccer is sending 8 boys’ teams and 8 girls’ teams to compete at the next level.
 
Indiana Soccer is very pleased with the final round of tournaments that were played at Grand Park last weekend and is excited to see our state represented at the next level competition.
 
“Indiana is proud to recognize and support each of the Indiana State Cup and Presidents Cup winners as they move on to the regional phase of these most prestigious national tournaments.  All of the players and coaches demonstrated tremendous dedication to their respective teams with years of practice and sacrifice”, Executive Director of Indiana Soccer Dave Guthrie, stated.  “I am impressed with the high level of skill and teamwork revealed by the players and am confident they will continue to impress as they compete at the regional level,”  Guthrie, concluded.
