The Indiana Soccer’s membership concluded the 2014 Indiana Cups finals weekend last night at Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana with great and fun competitive games. Your association is pleased with another successful year in which thousands of players and coaches prepared with their teams to compete in the most exclusive, competitive and prestigious youth soccer event in the state of Indiana.
The finals weekend for the State, Presidents and Challenge Cups hosted over 2,500 players from affiliated clubs representing over 150 teams. These teams demonstrated through the preliminary round why they deserved to compete in the finals weekend. Even though every team that participated have talented players and coaches, there is always one team that earns the top spot on the podium. Indiana Soccer congratulates all the participants and especially those that made it to the final game on Sunday, June 1st, 2014.
“As the event director, I am pleased to report that the 2014 Indiana Soccer Cups program was successful for another year. This is due in no small part to those who assist with the hosting to those who play the games. Each participant gives 110% to this event and it shows in the quality and level of play during finals.” Director of Indiana Cups Angel Hall, stated. “Congratulations to all the participants and especially to those of you advancing to the regional level of your cup event. Good luck in your upcoming games!” Hall, concluded.

“Each year I am impressed with the continued skill development that I witness at the year-end culminating cups events. This year in particular, I was impressed with the not only the skill of the players, but also the parity among and between all the teams that participated.” Indiana Soccer’s Executive Director Dave Guthrie, stated. “Many of the games demanded overtime with a significant number of those requiring kicks from the mark to determine a winner. Congratulations to all players for their contribution to a well-played weekend of high level soccer!” Guthrie, concluded.
