FC Dallas teams lead 13U National League Frontier Conference after first weekend

FRISCO, Texas (Jan. 23, 2019) – After the first weekend of play, North Texas Soccer teams FC Dallas 06 Premier and FC Dallas 06 Central lead the 13-Under Boys age group with 2-0 records. Teams from North Texas and Oklahoma competed in the opening weekend of the 13-Under Boys age group at Harold Patterson Sports Complex in Arlington, Texas

Overall, North Texas teams combined for six wins and two losses. North Texas teams will next compete against teams from South Texas, with the first of two weekends between the two groups taking place Feb. 2-3 at Harold Patterson Sports Complex. That weekend will also mark the first set of games for teams in the 13-Under Girls age group.

North Texas teams will look to join the already six North Texas teams that have secured 2018-19 National League Frontier Conference titles.

A full schedule of games and standings more can be found on the Frontier Conference homepage. The US Youth Soccer National League Frontier Conference is one of 13 Conferences under the US Youth Soccer National Leagues Program in the Multi-State Tier. North Texas teams in the Frontier Conference compete against each other in conjunction with the Chamber Classic League and Lake Highlands Classic League.

The Frontier Conference consists of teams primarily from Oklahoma, North Texas and South Texas. The top teams in the Conference will earn advancement to the US Youth Soccer Southern Regional Championship, part of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series, as well as a chance to earn a coveted spot in the National Tier of the Leagues Program, the US Youth Soccer National League. Last season, four North Texas Soccer teams claimed titles.
