Fall State Cup Boys 16-19 Finals Set

After an intense day of semi-finals, filled full of drama, upsets, and spectacular games, the finals for the Fall State Cup Boys ages 16-19 have been set. Kickoff times are at 5:00pm, 5:15pm, 7:00pm and 7:15pm. All finals will be played on either field 1 or field 2 at the Regional Athletic Complex. In addition UYSA media partner, Fox 13 will be covering the games, so tune in to Fox 13 news tonight!
Semi-Final Recap
U16
La Roca S AB cruised to a 5-1 victory over 01 Rangers FC Premier.
Sparta 01 Premier JK kept a clean sheet in a 2-0 win over USA Premier 01B- PR
U17
Sparta maintained its unbeaten record with a 2-0 victory over UDA 00B Blue.
Also staying unbeaten is AFC Apex 00 College Prep with a 1-0 win over Forza Fc West 00 LS
U18
With goals from Chanson Vawdrey, Ryan VandenBos, and Israel Baizabel, 99 Rangers Fc Premier emerged victorious over Forza Fc 98 RP 3-1
In the other semi-final, USA Premier 99B DC won 2-0 in overtime over La Roca S CS in a game that featured 2 PK's and an ejection.
U19
Fire Fc 98 Blue continued their run upsetting defending champ USA Premier 98B SA 2-1.
Forza Fc West AB upset their group winner 98 Rangers Fc Premier 2-0
Finals Storylines
U16
Two unbeatens in La Roca S AB and Sparta 01 Premier JK will play for the championship in a rematch of a 0-0 draw from group play, the only points either time dropped all tournament. Game kickoffs at 5:00pm on Field 2.
U17
Another rematch of unbeatens, Sparta 00 Premier Jk and AFC Apex 00 College Prep will look to win after drawing each other 1-1 back on Matchday 1. Game kicksoff at 7:00pm on Field 2.
U18
After their dramatic victory in overtime last night, USA Premier 99 DC will look to remain undefeated when they play 99 Rangers FC Premier in a match featuring the highest scoring team in the age group,USA, and one of the better defensive teams, Rangers. Game kickoffs at 5:15pm on Field 1.
U19
A matchup full of storylines, Forza Fc West 98 AB takes on Fire FC 98 Blue in a rematch from pool play, a match which Fire FC 98 Blue won 1-0. Fire FC is looking to become the first ever State Cup Champion coming from Southern Utah, while Forza Fc West is looking to continue their cinderella run after finishing in last place in their group during pool play. Game kickoffs at 7:15pm on Field 1.
