Director of Programming

Nebraska State Soccer is excited to announce the hiring of Chris Terry as its new Director of Programming.  Chris comes to NSS most recently from US Soccer.  Prior to his time in Chicago at the USSF national office, Chris spent time with New York Red Bulls of the MLS.

“We are really excited to add Chris to our team,” said president Jon Eilers. “his experience with US Soccer and in New York, coupled with his personality and the way he fit right into the team, made it obvious he was the right choice for NSS.”

In taking on the role of Director of Programming, Chris will focus on developing and assisting with all state sanctioned leagues, growing adult soccer opportunities across the state, and unifying and developing all NSS programming into a clear, professional and focused pathway for players and clubs.  “The landscape in the game of soccer is growing and changing so much across this country, and so much of our needs now focus on administrative assistance and playing opportunities, that we felt this was the right time to create this position and move some of our operations around,” said Executive Director Casey Mann.  “We need to get all our leagues working together and all our events and programming focused on creating the best possible opportunities for our membership to enjoy the game of soccer, and with Chris’s background and personality, we feel he is the person who can help us achieve that goal.”

Chris begins work on Monday, July 29th and can be reached at:  cterry@nebraskastatesoccer.org
