Day 3 of Spring State Cup

Sandy, UT (5/18/2017)

Well it snowed in May, but even that was not enough to put a damper on an outstanding day of soccer here in Salt Lake City. The fans were tremendous braving the weather that was downright chilly for most of the night. The players were even better as they battled not only the opposition but also the elements for the first time this tournament. Once again 49 games were played on 18 different fields, proving that not even the roughest weather can stop our outstanding players teams and fans. Like every storm, this one eventually ran our of rain or snow, and the last several games of the night had some of the most beautiful backdrops and skylines imaginable.

It was a great day for games as well as we get closer and closer to wrapping up the group play stage and teams start to separate themselves as contenders for the championship. Some massive scorelines were scored across multiple age groups, so check out the recap below to see anything you might have missed.
