Day 2 National Championships Results

Utah Teams Finish 1-1-3 at Day 2 of National Championships

07/24/19 - Overland Park, KS

Utah have improved it's record to 3-2-5 after Day 2 of the National Championship tournament.

Girls 15U:

Utah Celtic FC 04 started off their match with 2 early goals from Sierra Pennock and Pyper Vance, but allowed 2 in the second half to end the match with a 2-2 draw. 

Girls 18U:

Utah Celtic FC 01 snagged their first win of the tournament with a 2-0 victory over Michigan Jaguars. Goals were scored by Hallie Fernandez and Hailey Boeher.

La Roca PO tied for the second time of the tournament. They fought back after going down 2 goals within the first 10 minutes of the match. Oakley Rasmussen scored in the 40th minute and Kaitlyn Richins scored the second in the 69th to tie up the match.

Boys 18U:

Sparta Premier 01 JK suffered their first loss of the tournament in their second match. Ryen Jiba's goal in the 30th minute evened the score 1-1, and Michael Neeley's goal in the 50th minute put Sparta up, 2-1. But Future Players Academy from Pennsylvania nabbed two goals in the 63rd and 90th minutes to go up 3-2 and win the match.
