After being selected as the 2018 North Texas Soccer and US Youth Soccer Southern Regional Administrator of the Year, Melinda Earnheart was named the 2018 US Youth Soccer Administrator of the Year. Earnheart formally received the award at the Awards Gala of the 2019 US Youth Soccer Awards Gala, which was held in conjunction with the 2019 United Soccer Coaches Convention in Chicago.
Starting as a part-time office assistant within Coppell Youth Soccer Association, Earnheart hit the ground running when tasked to be the association’s registrar. Her focus is always on customer service, and while tasked with wearing many hats, she succeeds in making every experience as professional and smooth as possible for parents, players and coaches. Earnheart’s tireless efforts and understanding of the game of soccer have helped CYSA grow into a larger, more successful association.
In addition to attending the gala, Earnheart had the opportunity to attend the entire USC Convention, which provided a host workshops and seminars geared toward helping improve and grow the game of soccer.
US Youth Soccer also handed out awards in the following categories: Girls and Boys Recreational Coaches of the Year, Girls and Boys Competitive Coaches of the Year, Young Female and Male Referee of the Year, TOPSoccer Buddy and Coach of the Year and the Volunteer of the Year. North Texas Soccer announces their awards in the same categories every year at the North Texas Soccer Annual General Meeting.
