Club Spotlight: Riverside SC
Tucked away on the second floor of the Officer’s Quarters on the grounds of the historic Fort Logan complex in Old Englewood, Riverside Soccer Club is working to provide what most soccer clubs want to provide their players – the chance to compete, and have fun.
What makes Riverside SC different, is its approach. Described by the families who call Riverside SC home, the club has a small, almost boutique feel. Its families are busy, like any other club’s families, but it’s not just about soccer at Riverside SC. Family kick-arounds, picnics and team BBQs dominate the social scene at Riverside SC, and its families love its close-knit family feel.
Players from Englewood, Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Sheridan, South JeffCo, and Douglas County have found a home where they can play competitive soccer and feel like they are part of one big family. With musicians, actors, scholars, and multi-sport athletes on their roster, club coaches are able to work around their team’s schedules and create a personalized approach to learning and training to accommodate the team’s unique needs and the goals of each player.
Riverside SC is the oldest soccer club in Colorado with a tradition and history deeply rooted in its local community. Currently, its teams compete in State Cup and other tournaments across Colorado and throughout the United States.
