FRISCO, Texas (May 14, 2017) – Champions were crowned and regional tickets were booked on the final day of the 2017 US Youth Soccer North Texas Soccer State Cup, the premier club soccer competition in North Texas. In a tournament that started with 178 teams, 17 were crowned as 2017 North Texas State Cup champions.
Teams in the Under-11 through Under-19/20 boys and girls age groups finished play at Richland College . Winners in the Under-13 through Under-19/20 boys and girls age groups will now represent North Texas at the Region III Championships at Bryan Park Soccer Complex in Greensboro, N.C. from June 23-29, 2017.
US Youth Soccer Southern Regional Premier League (SRPL) West winners in the Under-13 and Under-14 Boys and Girls age groups along with champions and runner-ups in the Under-15 through Under-19/20 Boys and Girls age groups will join State Cup Champions and select wildcards at the Region III Championships. Regional winners will then represent Region III at the 2017 US Youth Soccer National Championships held at Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco Texas on July 25-29.
The North Texas Soccer State Cup is the first step in the US Youth Soccer National Championships Series. Boys and girls teams in multiple age groups earn their way by competing against the top teams in their state and region. US Youth Soccer State Champions and selected wildcard teams are eligible to compete in one of four US Youth Soccer Regional Championships. The champions in the 13U through 19/20U age groups from each regional event will converge in the finals with the National League teams.

Under-11 Girls
Dallas Texans 06 South secured the Under-11 Girls title with a 4-1 win over Texas Spirit after an impressive 7-1 win in the semifinals against D’Feeters 06 Colon yesterday.
Under-11 Boys
FC Dallas Youth 06 Academy prevailed over Dallas Texans 06 Dallas 2-1 I a highly contested match to win the Under-11 Boys title.
Under-12 Girls
After both sides secured shutouts in the semifinals, Liverpool earned a second straight 2-0 win in the finals against Fever United 05 Penn to claim the Under-12 Girls championship.
Under-12 Boys
Both FC Dallas 05 Academy and Dallas Texans 05 found the back of the net in extra time, but FC Dallas would prevail in kicks from the mark to win the Under-12 Boys championship.
Under-13 Girls
Dallas Texans 05 South, who was playing up an age group, won the Under-13 Girls title over fellow club side Dallas Texans 04 South. Both teams will advance to the Region III Championships thanks to Dallas Texans 04 winning the SRPL West.
Under-13 Boys
FC Dallas Youth 04 East Gold prevailed over Dallas Kicks SC Selecao 1-0 to win the Under-13 Boys title and advance to the Region III Championships.
Under-14 Girls
After recording a 3-0 in in the semifinals, Liverpool 03 Elite secured a trip to the Region III Championships with a 2-0 win over Dallas Texans 03 South in the Under-14 Girls finals.
Under-14 Boys
FC Premier earned a one-goal win to advance to the finals, and came back from a 1-0 deficit to claim the Under-14 Boys title 2-1 over FC Dallas Youth 03 Central.
Under-15 Girls
Solar Chelsea 02 Hopkins earned a spot in the Region III Championships thanks to a 3-1 win over Sting Dallas 02 Flanagan in the Under-15 Girls finals.
Under-15 Boys
Solar Chelsea 02 Stricker won its fourth straight North Texas State Cup title with a 6-0 win over Dallas Texans 02 South. Both sides will advance to the Region III Championships courtesy of Solar winning the SRPL West.
Under-16 Girls
Dallas Texans 01 Dallas used a 2-0 win over Solar Chelsea 01 Wells to win the Under-16 Girls title and reserve a spot in the Region III Championships.
Under-16 Boys
Kicks from the mark were needed to decide a winner between Solar Chelsea 01 Elite Fagen and FC Dallas Youth 01 Premier, which Solar Chelsea ultimately prevailing.
Under-17 Girls
Dallas Texans 00 Black FTW prevailed in an all-Dallas Texans Under-17 Girls finals with a 2-1 win over Dallas Texans 00 Dallas.
Under-17 Boys
FC Dallas 00 Premier avenged a State Cup finals loss last year with a 2-1 win over defending champions FC Dallas Youth 00 in the Under-17 Boys finals. Both sides will advance to the Region III Championships thanks to FC Dallas Premier qualifying via the SRPL West.
Under-18 Girls
Defending champions Solar Chelsea 99 Grado made it back-to-back championships with a 3-2 win in the Under-18 Girls finals against Sting Central Parker. Both sides will advance to the Region III Championships due to Solar winning the SRPL West.
Under-18 Boys
FC Dallas Youth 99 Premier took down the defending champions Dallas Texans 99 Red 3-1 to claim the Under-18 Boys title. Dallas Texans will join FC Dallas at the Region III Championships as a result of a SRPL West title.
Under-19 Boys
Barcelona 98 Blue earned a 3-1 win over defending champions FC Dallas Youth 98 Premier in the Under-19 Boys championship. FC Dallas will also head to the Region III Championships courtesy of winning the SRPL West.
