The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

ODP Policy on Schedule Conflicts

We understand that schedule conflicts will arise from time-to-time, and thus have established some guidelines for players to follow to resolve these conflicts. Specifically:

  1. ODP practices take priority over club practices (since there are so few dates available for ODP throughout the year, and clubs have all the other dates during the year to hold training sessions) and recreational-level club games (since ODP is a higher level of play than recreational soccer).
  2. Classic-level club games (in a sanctioned league or tournament) take priority over ODP practices (i.e., official club games are more important than ODP practices, and ODP events are more important than club practices).
  3. A "scrimmage" or "friendly" (i.e., a game that is not part of a sanctioned league or tournament) by a club team is considered to be a club practice, not a club game.
  4. ODP competitions take priority over club competitions (just as national team games take priority over professional club matches).
  5. Any event scheduled at the "last minute" (long after the other conflicting event was scheduled) generally should defer to the previously-announced event.

We do our best to schedule ODP dates very early in the year (most dates will be posted before the end of October each year), and we make every effort to avoid scheduling ODP events on dates that conflict with major club and school events.  In return, we ask all coaches of ODP-eligible players to not schedule practices or games on top of our previously-announced ODP dates.  ODP players should provide copies of the ODP schedule to their club and school coaches as soon as it has been posted to ensure that their coaches have this information as they are making plans for their team's season.
