The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Alabama State Games

The Alabama Soccer Association (ASA) and the Alabama State Games/ASF Foundation are pleased to announce the partnership of these two great non-profit organizations that believe in mentoring youth through sports, education, and good citizenship.

ASA has a mission of improving the lives of youth emotionally, physically, and educationally through the sport of soccer. The ASF Foundation, since 1982 has been a statewide ASA_OfficialLogo_Primarymentor organization with four main focus areas: Health, Academics, Athletics, Good Citizenship. Using sports as a vehicle, the ASF Foundation teaches youth the importance of positive lifestyle choices, good education, the importance of family and community.

“The Alabama State Games/ASF has a long standing tradition of promoting physical fitness, and character, by providing opportunities to athletes of all levels, says Tom Condone, ASA Executive Director. “We welcome this partnership to keep kids healthy and active in body, mind and spirit.”.

The ASF Foundation is home to the annual Alabama State Games sports festival event for youth and adults, modeled after the International Olympics. The youth and adult soccer tournament is a staple sport in the lineup of over twenty sports offered at the multi-sport event weekend. They also have a Student Ambassadors program for high school students, a Ur Keys 2 Drv Teen Driver Summit, Honoring our Heroes series, and the Wee Can Fight ObesitySM program. ASA and the ASF Foundation our asffoundationboth educational non-profits that believe in giving back to Alabama by reaching the leaders of tomorrow, today. 

“This is an exciting time for the ASF Foundation and our annual Alabama State Games event,” says Anthony Terling, ASF Foundation Vice-President of External Affairs. “This partnership will provide many more educational, athletic, and mentorship type opportunities for Alabama’s youth. Our Student Ambassadors programs, where academic scholarships will be available to high school students in ASA. We are looking forward to working closely with ASA on these initiatives.”
