The 2018 North Texas Soccer Annual Awards took place Saturday July 8 during the Awards Dinner at the 2018 North Texas Soccer Annual General Meeting. Awards were given out in the following categories: Administrator of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Boys Competitive Coach of the Year, Girls Competitive Coach of the Year. Boys Recreational Coach of the Year, Girls Recreational Coach of the Year, Young Female Referee of the Year, Young Male Referee of the Year and TOPSoccer Coach of the Year.
This year marks the first year TOPSoccer Coach of the Year awards were presented. Nominations from member associations were submitted until the end of April, with a committee selecting the winners. In addition to these awards, the Jim Finger Lifetime Achievement and Dale McGregor Golden Whistle Awards were handed out.
Last year, 2017 North Texas Soccer Administrator of the Year Kathy Rudd, and North Texas Soccer Young Female Referee of the Year Rebecca Moore were named US Youth Soccer South Region awards winners in their respective categories.
