FRISCO, Texas (May 7, 2017) – Group Play concluded at the 2017 US Youth Soccer North Texas Soccer State Cup, the premier club soccer competition in North Texas. The tournament, which began with 178 teams, narrowed to 70 who are still seeking a state championship and the opportunity to advance to the 2017 US Youth Soccer Region III Championships.
Teams in the Under-11 through Under-19/20 boys and girls age groups continued play at Richland College and the University of Texas at Dallas. Champions will be crowned May 14, with the winners in the Under-13 through Under-19/20 boys and girls age groups representing North Texas at the Region III Championships at Bryan Park Soccer Complex in Greensboro, N.C. from June 23-29, 2017.
US Youth Soccer Southern Regional Premier League (SRPL) West winners in the Under-13 and Under-14 Boys and Girls age groups along with champions and and runner-ups in the Under-15 through Under-19/20 Boys and Girls age groups will join State Cup Champions and select wildcards at the Region III Championships. Regional winners will then represent Region III at the 2017 US Youth Soccer National Championships held at Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco Texas on July 25-29.
The North Texas Soccer State Cup is the first step in the US Youth Soccer National Championships Series. Boys and girls teams in multiple age groups earn their way by competing against the top teams in their state and region. US Youth Soccer State Champions and selected wildcard teams are eligible to compete in one of four US Youth Soccer Regional Championships. The champions in the 13U through 19/20U age groups from each regional event will converge in the finals with the National League teams.
Under-11 Girls
Dallas Texans 06 South defeated Dallas Texans 06 Pane to win Group A, Texas Spirit North 06 won Group B thanks to a 3-1 win against FC Dallas Youth 06 Central and Solar Chelsea 06 Springate claimed the Group C title with a 3-2 win over D’Feeters 06 Colon on the final day of play. D’Feeters will join the group winners in the semifinals as a wildcard.
Under-11 Boys
Dallas Texans 06 Salazar advanced to the semifinals and won Group A after a 2-1 victory over MRSC 06 Davidson, and FC Dallas Youth 06 Academy claimed the other semifinals slot after defeating FC Dallas Youth 06 Navy on the final day of play 1-0. Solar Chelsea 06 Barboza used a 3-1 win over Dallas Texans 06 Dallas to win Group B, but both teams will advance to the semifinals as Dallas Texans finished second in Group B.
Under-12 Girls
Dallas Kicks SC Selecao 05 defeated Sting East 05 Gray 2-1 to go 3-0 in group play and win Group A, while Dallas Kicks SC JM grabbed the second semifinals spot after drawing Triumph Futbol 05 Oakes 0-0. Fever United 05 Penn secured a 3-0 record with a 1-0 win over Liverpool 05 Elite. Both teams will advance to the semifinals next weekend.
Under-12 Boys
FC Dallas Youth 05 Academy and Solar Chelsea 05 Castro battled to a scoreless draw after both sides ensured spots in the semifinals in Group A. Dallas Texans used a 2-1 win over FC Dallas Youth 05 to claim the Group B title. Both teams will advance to the semifinals after going 2-0 on Saturday.

Under-13 Girls
Dallas Texans 05 South took the Group A title after going 1-0-1 on Saturday, while Dallas Texans 04 South secured the second semifinals slot with a 2-0 win over FC Dallas Youth 04 Blue. Dallas Rush used a 3-0 win over FC Dallas Youth 04 Premier to secure the Group B title and a bid to the semifinals, while Solar Chelsea 04 Rundell will advance to the semifinals as well after going 1-1 yesterday.
Under-13 Boys
Dallas Texans 04 Dallas and Dallas Kicks 04 Selecao will advance to the semifinals with 1-0-1 records after Dallas Kicks drew FC Dallas Youth 04 South Red and Dallas Texans defeated Rayos FC 04 Tenorio. Group B saw three teams finish with 2-1 records as FC Dallas Youth 04 Premier won the group and FC Dallas Youth 04 East Gold finished in second place.
Under-14 Girls
Liverpool 03 Elite defeated Sting East 03 Dunstan 5-1 to win Group A while scoring 20 goals in two days. Liverpool will take on Sting West 03 Khan, which placed second in Group C, in the semifinals next weekend. Dallas Texans 03 STH will advance to the semifinals after winning Group B and will play Group C winners Dallas Texans 03 Dallas.
Under-14 Boys
Group A winners FC Dallas Youth 04 Central will face-off against Group D winners Solar Chelsea 03 Cates in the semifinals after FC Dallas defeated Dallas Texans 03 STH Hernandez, and Solar Chelsea beat fellow club side Solar Chelsea 03 Deleon 2-1 on the final day of group play. Solar Chelsea 03 Sawyer and FC Premier 03 grabbed the other two semifinals slots as Solar won Group B by going 2-0 yesterday and FC Premier narrowly defeated FC Dallas Youth 03 Blue 1-0 to claim Group C.

Under-15 Girls
Solar Chelsea 02 Nazier sealed a spot in the semifinals after drawing Mutiny FC 2002 1-1 to win Group A. Solar will take on Group D winners Sting Dallas 02 Flanagan, who also used a draw against FC Dallas Youth 02 Premier to secure its group title. Sting Dallas 02 Royal Flanagan emerged out of Group B after going 2-0 yesterday and will take on Group C winners Solar Chelsea 02 Hopkins NL in the other semifinals match.
Under-15 Boys
Defending North Texas State Cup champions Solar Chelsea 02 Stricker will continue its quest to defend its title after a 9-0 victory over Cruz Azul FC 02 gave them the Group A title. Group B was won by Dallas Texans 02 South, who defeated Liverpool 02 Rush on the final day of group play. Group C saw FC Dallas Youth 02 Premier finish on top with a 2-0 record thanks to a 4-0 win over Solar Chelsea 02 Castro. Three-time North Texas State Cup finalists Odyssey SC 02 defeated Solar Chelsea 02 Sawyer in a battle of 2-0 teams to claim first place in Group D and a semifinals spot.
Under-16 Girls
2016-17 SRPL West champions Fever United 01 Mariscal won 4-1 over Sting Central 01 Parker to win Group A and advance to the semifinals, where the will play against Dallas Texans 01 Dallas, who won Group D after a 3-0 victory against Solar Chelsea 01 Fagen. The other semifinals match will feature Group B winners Solar Chelsea 01 Wells and FC Dallas Youth 01 West. Solar won Group B with a 1-0-1 record after drawing Sting East 01 Dunstan 1-1 on the final day of group play, while FC Dallas claimed the Group C title with a 4-1 win over City Development Academy 01 Red.

Under-16 Boys
FC Dallas Youth 01 Premier took Group A after a 4-1 win over Mexico 01 on Sunday, and will play FC Dallas Youth 01 Central, who grabbed a wildcard slot after finishing second in Group C. Solar Chelsea 01 Stricker won Group C after drawing FC Dallas Youth on the final day of group play.
Under-17 Girls
Dallas Texans 00 Dallas won Group A after a 3-0 win over three-time defending North Texas State Cup champions Dallas Kicks SC 00. Texans will play Texas Spirit North 00, who finished second in Group B. Group B was claimed by Solar Chelsea 00 Bates after they defeated Texas Spirit 4-1 on Sunday. Dallas Texans 00 Black FTW reserved the final semifinals spot by winning Group C with a 3-0 record.
Under-17 Boys
FC Dallas 00 Premier and Dallas Texans 00 South will meet in the semifinals after each team notched quarterfinal wins on Sunday. FC Dallas defeated Fort Worth FC 00 White 9-1, while Dallas Texans 00 edged out Anoranzas 2-1. The other semifinals match will feature Group B winner FC Dallas Youth 00, who defeated Solar Chelsea 00 Passos 2-1 in the quarterfinals and Group C winner Solar Chelsea 00 Wells, who won 1-0 over Liverpool 00 Keegan today.
Under-18 Girls
Solar Chelsea 99 Grado secured a 2-1 win over FCUSA Texas 99 to win Group A and reserve a spot in the semifinals. Solar will take on Liverpool 99 Toshack, who qualified as the wildcard with a second place finish in Group B. Group B winners Sting Central Parker defeated Liverpool 6-1 and will play Group C winner Sting West 99 in the semifinals next weekend.

Under-18 Boys
FC Dallas 99 East won Group A after earning a 2-1 win over Solar Chelsea 99 Martinez, and will play FC Dallas Youth 99 Premier, who won Group B after drawing 2-2 with defending North Texas State Cup champions Dallas Texans 99 Red. Dallas Texans will advance as a wildcard, and will play Group C champions Dallas Texans 99 Dallas in the semifinals.
Under-19 Boys
2015-16 US Youth Soccer National League champions Solar Chelsea 98 Passos secured second place in Group A after a 2-1 win over Dallas Texans 98 STH Hernandez after Barcelona 98 Blue wrapped up the Group A title by going 2-0 in its first two matches. Having already secured spots in the semifinals, defending North Texas State Cup champions FC Dallas Youth 98 Premier and FC Dallas Youth 98 West met to determine a Group B winner. The title was claimed by FC Dallas Youth 98 Premier after a 3-2 win.
