Fees:
Jamboree - $25.00 per team if application is received/postmarked on or before March 15, 2008
$50 if application is received / postmarked March 16 - 31, 2008
$75 if application is received after March 31, 2008. We reserve the right not to accept late registrations.
TOPSoccer division is free
Competitive - $200 if application is received / postmarked on or before March 15, 2008
$250 if application is received / postmarked between March 16 and March 31, 2008
$275 if application is received/postmarked after March 31, 2008. We reserve the right not to accept late registrations.
The players:
Recreational players only
Jamboree U7 - U18 Coed and Girls, PDP, TOPSoccer
Competitive U11 - U18 Coed and Girls Division: U11 - U12: 8v8, U13 - U18: 11v11,
Competitive 7v7: U15 - U18: Coed and Girls Division
Last day to add players or make roster changes: April 25, 2008
All players must play 50 percent of the game. No guest players are allowed to participate in the competitive division of the American Cup. Transferred or secondary players are NOT allowed to play in the tournament. A jamboree team is allowed up to three guest players.
Coaching license required:
Jamboree, a coaching license is not required - but recommended.
Competitive: "E" license
Fees:
$350 if received / postmarked on or before March 15, 2008
$400 if received / postmarked between March 16 and March 31, 2008
$450 if received/postmarked after March 31, 2008 We reserve the right not to accept late registrations.
The players:
U11 - U19: Level 2 recreational or all-star teams, level 3 classic teams. Coed & Girls
Secondary players are allowed to play if their primary team is not participating in the cup.
Changes to the roster must be made on or before May 9, 2008
Gold and Silver division: offered in the U11 - U13 age groups. The winner of the gold division will be declared the state champion. Each silver division must have a minimum of three teams in order to form. Teams may be moved to the gold division if minimum number of teams is not achieved. The cups committee reserves the right to move a team to the gold division if they believe it will better balance the divisions.
President's Cup is designed for level 2 and level 3 teams. The level of competition is higher than the American Cup. Teams usually play three games in addition to the finals.
Coaching licenses required:
"E" license for level 2 teams. "D" license for level 3 teams
Advancement:
Winners from the President's Cup (ages U13 - U17) may advance to the Region III President's Cup, June 13 - 15, 2008 in Columbus, Georgia. Teams must decide at the conclusion of the President's Cup whether or not they will participate in the Region III President's Cup. If the team has entered both the President's Cup and the AR State Championships and decides to attend the Region III President's Cup its entry fee for the AR State Championships will be refunded. A team may not participate in both the AR State Championships and the Region III President's Cup.

$400 if received / postmarked on or before March 15, 2008

U19 teams must prove a $4,000 bond check that will be returned once the team meets its obligations.
The players:
U14 - U19: Level 3 classic teams. Coed & Girls
Teams must pre-qualify by participating in at least a four-team state approved league. U19 is exempt from this rule.
The State Championships are governed by National Championship rules.
Changes in the roster must be made on or before 4 pm on May 27, 2008
Secondary players are not allowed to participate in this tournament.
Coaching licenses required:
"D" license.
Advancement:
Winners from the Arkansas State Championships will advance to the US Youth Southern Regionals held in North Carolina, June 19 - 25, 2008
Special Note: Teams participating in the State Championships must commit to attending the US Youth Southern Regionals.
Special Note:
A team may only participate in one regional tournament (it cannot participate in both the Region III President's Cup and Southern Regionals.) If a team wins the President's Cup is also entered into the AR State Championships it must decide whether it will participate in the AR State Championships or the Region III President's Cup. It cannot participate in both.
