Arkansas State Championships

 

Date: June 4 - 6, 2010

Location: Burns Park, North Little Rock

Application: Only online registration is accepted.  You must use your ASSA GotSoccer team account to register online.  If you do not know your ASSA GotSoccer team account login information please contact the state office, 501-833-0550.  Do not register using a different account.

IMPORTANT:  ASSA is NOT affiliated with any sports' hotel booking agency.  Teams do not have to book through a booking agency to reserve a room for our state cups.

$99.00 (standard King or Double Room)   Breakfast is included in the rate

Additional preferred hotels may become available.

Fees

  • $400 if submitted on or before March 15, 2010
  • $450 if submitted between March 16 - 31, 2010
  • $500 if submitted after March 31, 2010. We reserve the right not to accept late registrations.
  • Conduct/Performance bond: $1,000

Players

  • U14 - U19: Level 3 classic teams. Coed & Girls

Teams must pre-qualify by participating in the AR State League. U19 is exempt from this rule. The State Championships are governed by National Championship rules. Changes in the roster must be made on or before 4 pm on June 1, 2010. Secondary players are not allowed to participate in this tournament.

Coaching Licenses Required

  • "D" license

Advancement

Winners from the Arkansas State Championships are required to advance to the US Youth Southern Regionals held in Baton Rouge, LA, June 17 - 23, 2010. Teams are required to stay in the AR State assigned hotel and should plan accordingly.  

Special Notes

  • Teams participating in the State Championships must commit to attending the US Youth Southern Regionals.
  • A team may only participate in one regional tournament (it cannot participate in both the Region III President's Cup and Southern Regionals.) 
  • Teams are only allowed to enter either the AR State Championships or the President's Cup, and cannot enter both.
