ODP Summer Camps

Every spring, we select players in each ODP age group to represent Arkansas ODP at a variety of summer camps across the southern US. Our goal is to send players to camps that match their current level of abilities, as assessed across all ODP training sessions held over the previous 5 months.
The ODP Academy Camp is the entry-level camp designed for players in our youngest two age groups (U12s and U13s). This camp takes place over 4 days, and is held in Arkansas in early June each year.
At the next stage, players in the U13 and U14 age groups will travel out-of-state to either the Boys ODP Subregional Camp in Jackson, Mississippi or the Girls ODP Subregional Camp in Norman, Oklahoma. These events take place over a period of 5 days, and players will meet in North Little Rock the day before departure for an additional training session prior to each camp.
Selected players in the U14-U18 age groups will have an opportunity to receive more advanced training and competition at the ODP Subregional College Combine. The Combine will be held in Monroe, Louisiana over 3 days in late June, and will allow players from across the state to learn more about the college recruitment and selection process while also gaining more familiarity with their peers from across the state ahead of the Region III Camps.
Finally, selected players in the U14-U17 age groups will travel to Alabama in July for the Region III Camp. There, they will train under the guidance of a US Youth Soccer Region Staff Coach, compete against ODP State Teams from across the entire Southeast, and work to be selected to the Region III ODP Team. Players will also be seen by a significant number of active college coaches at each Region Camp; as an example, nearly 60 college coaches attended the Boys ODP Region III Camps in July 2011. Each age group spends 5 days at the Region Camp, and players meet in North Little Rock the day before departure for an additional training session prior to each camp.

Selection Lists for 2013 Summer Camps
Here are the selection lists for all our 2013 ODP summer camps. Remember that ODP follows the calendar year, and not the club/school year, when determining a player's age group!
